What is sevenAI?

sevenAI is your personal AI tutor for education and learning. The AI can help you with many tasks:

  • Write, summarize and translate texts
  • Analyze documents and answer questions
  • Create and evaluate feedback tasks
  • Generate lesson templates
  • Create quizzes, H5P exercises and interactive tasks
  • Generate and edit images
  • Research on the internet
On which devices can I use sevenAI?

sevenAI is available on all common platforms:

  • Web App – directly in your browser, no installation required
  • iOS – native app for iPhone and iPad
  • Android – native app for Android devices
  • macOS – desktop app for Mac
  • Windows – desktop app for Windows
  • Linux – desktop app for Linux

All features are available on all devices. Your chats and documents are synced.

How accurate are the AI responses?

sevenAI uses state-of-the-art AI models and delivers high-quality answers in most cases. However: sevenAI can make mistakes. We recommend always double-checking important information – especially for factual questions.

If you are not satisfied with an answer, you can have any AI response regenerated.

In which languages is sevenAI available?

The user interface of sevenAI is available in over 25 languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish and many other European languages.

The AI can respond in any language regardless of the interface language. You can change the language during onboarding or at any time in the settings.


Pricing & Plans

Is sevenAI free?

Yes, sevenAI offers a free Basic plan with limited tool usage and a standard AI model. For unlimited access, the Pro plan is available from €19/month (annual billing).

What is included in the Pro plan?

The Pro plan (€19/month with annual billing) includes:

  • Unlimited use of all tools
  • Access to the most powerful AI models
  • Document upload & analysis
  • EU AI Act training
  • Priority support
What happens when my limit is reached?

When the limit for a feature is reached, you temporarily cannot use it. The limit resets automatically every 24 hours. Under Settings > Usage, you can view your current quota at any time.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to a higher plan to get more quota.

Are there offers for schools and organizations?

Yes! Our Enterprise plan is specifically designed for schools and educational institutions. It includes:

  • All features of the Pro plan
  • Admin console for user management
  • Dedicated server resources
  • API access & integrations
  • A dedicated contact person

Data Protection

How secure is my data?

Data protection is our highest priority:

  • All data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH).
  • Processing is GDPR-compliant.
  • Your chats and documents are not used for AI model training.
  • No tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.) are used.
  • Sentry is used for error monitoring – only technical error reports are transmitted, no personal content.

Is my data shared with third parties?

No. sevenAI uses self-hosted AI models – no data is sent to OpenAI, Microsoft or other external AI providers. Your inputs, documents and chats remain exclusively on our own servers in Germany.

Is Sentry used for error monitoring?

Yes, we use Sentry for error monitoring to ensure the stability of the platform. In the event of an error, technical error reports (stack traces) are automatically sent to Sentry. These contain exclusively technical information such as the error type, timestamp and affected code location.

Important: No personal content such as chat messages, documents or user inputs is transmitted to Sentry. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in error-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More details in our Privacy Policy.

Can I export my data?

Yes. In accordance with GDPR, you can request a complete export of your data at any time. The export contains all chats, files and settings and is provided as a ZIP file. You will receive an email with a download link once the export is ready. The download link is valid for 7 days.

Which AI modes are available to me?

sevenAI offers 8 specialized modes:

  • Standard – All-rounder, automatically selects the right tool
  • Web Search – Internet research with source references
  • Document Library – Search, read, create and organize documents
  • Image Generation – Generate, edit images and create diagrams
  • H5P & Learning Content – Interactive exercises like quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks, crosswords
  • Text-to-Speech – Convert text into natural-sounding speech
  • Task Management – Create and organize tasks
  • Solve Complex Tasks (Beta) – Multi-step tasks with planning

What are custom GPTs?

You can create custom GPTs with individual instructions that are optimized for recurring tasks. This way, you don't have to describe the same requirements every time – your personal GPT already knows the context and desired approach.

Can I attach files to my messages?

Yes! You can attach files directly to your message to have the AI analyze them. Additionally, you can upload documents to your library so the AI can use them as a knowledge base. You can also focus a document so the AI considers it directly in the chat.

Can I use voice messages?

Yes, you can record voice messages instead of typing. The AI transcribes your speech and processes the request like a text message.

What are chat branches?

You can create a new chat branch from any message. This way, you can take a different direction without losing the existing conversation history. Ideal when you want to try different approaches.

How can I personalize the AI?

In the settings, you can customize your profile so the AI is better tailored to you:

  • Name – The AI addresses you personally
  • Profession – e.g. teacher, student, lecturer – so responses match your field
  • Response style – e.g. simple language, formal, detailed or brief
  • Interests and preferences – taken into account in responses

Files & Formats

Which file formats can I upload?

sevenAI supports the most common formats:

  • PDF – PDF documents
  • Word – .docx files
  • PowerPoint – .pptx files
  • Images – PNG, JPG
  • Text files – .txt

The maximum file size is 15 MB per file.

How does the library work?

The library is your personal knowledge base. You can organize your content intuitively like on a desktop:

  • Manage documents and AI results in folders
  • Multi-select with CTRL/CMD
  • Preview files directly
  • Use shared folders for collaboration

By uploading, you confirm that you hold the copyright. Processing is GDPR-compliant on our own servers in Germany.


Account

How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time in the app's Settings. This action cannot be undone – all chats, documents and settings will be permanently deleted.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the contact form and we will delete your data in compliance with GDPR.

How do I reset my password?

Click on “Forgot password” on the login screen. You will receive an email with a 6-digit code that you can enter to set a new password. Please also check your spam folder.

What is the AI training?

If your organization has enabled AI training, each member must successfully complete the designated AI training (e.g. on the EU AI Act) before they can use sevenAI. This ensures that all users learn responsible use of AI.
