Tool Guides

Learn about all eight tool modes in detail – with feature descriptions, example prompts and tips for optimal results.

Standard

The default mode – automatically selects the right tool

In Standard mode, the AI automatically decides which tools are best suited for your request. You have access to images, web search, documents, audio, Wolfram Alpha, presentations and Mundo resources – all in one chat.

Included tools

  • Generate, edit images and create diagrams
  • Web search and webpage analysis
  • Search, read and save documents
  • Convert text to speech
  • Mathematical calculations (Wolfram Alpha)
  • Generate presentations
  • Search and save Mundo educational resources

When to use this mode?

  • When you are not sure which tool fits
  • For mixed requests (e.g. research + image)
  • As an all-rounder for daily use
  • For general questions and conversations

Example prompts

“Explain the difference between mitosis and meiosis for 10th grade.”

“Search for current statistics on climate change and create a chart.”

“Calculate the zeros of f(x) = 2x³ - 5x² + 3x and show the steps.”

“Create a presentation about the solar system with 8 slides.”

Tip: Standard mode is the best choice for most use cases. Only switch to a specialized mode when you specifically want to use a particular feature.

Web Search

Research current information from the internet

In this mode, the focus is on internet research. The AI searches the web for current information, reads webpages and summarizes the results clearly – always with source references.

Available tools

  • Web search – Find current information on the internet
  • Read webpage – Analyze and summarize a specific webpage

Ideal for

  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Researching current statistics and facts
  • Source research for academic papers
  • Following news and current developments

Example prompts

“Search for the latest developments in quantum computing research and cite the sources.”

“Compare the education systems of Germany, Finland and South Korea.”

“Read this webpage and summarize the 5 most important points: [URL]”

Tip: The more specific your question, the better the results. Instead of “info on climate change”, try “Current CO2 emission data of EU countries compared 2023–2025”.

Document Library

Search, read, create and organize documents

Manage your personal knowledge base with AI support. Upload documents, search your library, have content analyzed and create new documents – all via chat.

Available tools

  • Search documents – Search your knowledge base for content
  • Read document – Read and analyze a specific document
  • Create document – Save a new document
  • Delete document – Remove documents no longer needed
  • Move document – Organize documents into other folders

Supported formats

PDF PDF documents
DOCX Word documents
PPTX PowerPoint presentations
IMG Images (PNG, JPG)
TXT Text files (max. 15 MB)

Example prompts

“Summarize this PDF in 5 bullet points.”

“Search my documents for information about sustainability.”

“Create a summary of my uploaded text and save it as a new document.”

“What are the key takeaways from chapter 3 of the uploaded document?”

Tip: Upload your teaching materials to the library. This way, the AI can refer to your own content when answering questions and provide more tailored responses.

Image Generation

Generate images, edit them and create diagrams

Turn text into stunning images, illustrations and diagrams. Perfect for presentations, worksheets and teaching materials – no design skills required.

Available tools

  • Generate image – Create images from text descriptions
  • Edit image – Modify and adjust existing images
  • Create diagram – Flowcharts, diagrams and more (Mermaid)

Ideal for

  • Designing worksheets with illustrations
  • Enhancing presentations visually
  • Visualizing processes and workflows as diagrams
  • Creative projects and posters

Example prompts

“Create a colorful illustration of the water cycle for a 5th grade worksheet.”

“Create a flowchart showing the process of photosynthesis.”

“Generate an image of a medieval castle in cartoon style.”

“Edit the image and change the background to a library.”

Tip: Describe the desired style (e.g. “in watercolor style”, “as a minimalist graphic”, “in cartoon style”). The more detailed your description, the better the result.

H5P Create and Edit
